#3 - Music

I'm thankful for music. Eric and I both spent way too much money in high school on CD's but we loved our music. Our kids love music also. Eric and I both will pick the kids up and dance around the room to music, they love it. Bianca used to just watch the songs on the movies we bought her. Her first favorite movie was "The Sound of Music". She learned those songs very young. If you look way back on this blog you will see that I posted about her singing Somewhere Out There from American Tale when she was just over a year. Wyatt's first favorite movie was Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Both Wyatt and Bianca sing "I am a Child of God" from Church. Bianca knows a ton of primary songs. She also makes up words to tunes of songs that she knows to be funny. I love to listen to her sing. Wyatt sings songs from the television show Yo Gabba Gabba. Obviously not the words but the tunes and he claps and dances. I love to watch them dance to pink elephants on parade from Dumbo. Music just really sets a mood. Of joy, sadness, humor, or horror. Many memories can be drawn upon by hearing a song. We are definetely music lovers and I am grateful for it.
