Solid

Clarkie had his 6 month check up and was only 14 lbs. which surprised me. He just seems so chunky to me but he's still within normal range which is bigger than my other babies who were always in the 5th percentile no matter how much I tried to stuff their faces. I had not started him on solids yet because he didn't seem like he was interested in food much except milk of course. The Dr. encouraged me to start them so we went out and got some food. His first taste was oatmeal mixed with pears. He didn't go crazy for it. Big surprise. I started to bring him to the table for meals with us and he's super excited about our food but when I give him his he turns his head. Or he'll take a bite then rub his nose and fuss. Neither Bianca nor Wy cared for baby food. But I'm determined to make this kid a good eater. So I'm keeping the food flow steady. Just twice a day now but he gets a fruit and oatmeal in the morning and a veggie and rice at night. Don't freak out I just took the tray off and leaned him back a little for the picture.

Sometimes I think he would rather suck his toes or his fingers all day than eat. My kiddies are not big eaters. They snack and drink a lot. Can't say I blame them when I'm kinda like that too.

So far his favorite baby food is peaches. He loves to sip water from my glass. He loves any regular food I give him. Yes I'm bad like that and give him tidbits of stuff from my plate. He still won't take a bottle but I admit I haven't offered him one in a few weeks. I got tired of trying and it's just more convenient to nurse him but I'm thinking about trying the bottle again. We'll see how it goes. And that is my somewhat mundane post on my baby boy. Gotta keep updated though for the baby book that I'll get to someday! (:

Clark - 5 months

Can't believe how fast time is going by! Here are a few pictures for your enjoyment:

Bianca reading to Clark

Baby boy got an excersaucer
Wyatt loves to talk to Clark when he's getting his diaper changed.

Look really closely at the entryway, you can click on the pic to make it bigger. Wyatt LOVES to decorate. He cut a bunch of tiny papers and taped them on the cement. He does this all around the house too.

Baby boy's smiles are SOOOO sweet!

brotherly love
Clark found his feet about a month ago and loves to reach for them when his diaper is off.

We are so happy to have this addition to our little family. I feel so blessed when I look at my babies!

p.s. I hope to do some longer posts soon. I haven't been keeping up as much mostly because Wyatt now knows how to play on the computer and is a total computer HOG! (:

Bianca 4 months

I can't believe this! I was just looking for a baby pic of Bianca for a friend and found this one of her at 4 months, she is Clark's twin! This is exactly how he looks when he gets excited about something. Crazy!

Clark - 4 month check up

Today was Clark's 4 month well baby appointment. He weighs 14 pounds, which is less than I expected. I guess he just seems heavy in his car seat! He did have an issue with his circumcision. The skin started to reattach so the Dr. had to pull it back and he was screaming. Poor baby. Then right after that he got his shots, so today was not the best day for him. He and I both still have thrush and are picking up prescriptions for diflucan tomorrow, hopefully that will kick it for good. Other than that he is a happy baby, as you can see below. He has started to smile, laugh, kick and talk baby talk to us. His favorite person right now is Wyatt because he dances and sings to him and plays with him constantly. He's sleeping from 8:30 to 3:30 and then gets up at 6:30, which to me is awesome. So much better than my other two who didn't sleep more than 3 hours at a time until they were 2 years old. He thinks bottles are toys and not feeding devices but we're still working on it. He eats about every 3 hours. He resembles Bianca so much when she was a baby and even makes some of the same faces. I love him so much and can't imagine our family without him, my baby Clarkie.

Youngest to oldest

Clark: three months old. Was wearing 3-6 month clothes when he was 2 months bc his torso is so long. Can only stay up an hour and a half to two hours at a time. Just started to go to sleep on his own, yay! I never put my other kids down to do that. I didn't know it was possible. Is just getting over thrush which he had for a month. He's starting to talk baby talk a lot and smile at us. He's also starting to resist formula. Eric was giving him a formula bottle a day but we stopped bc of the thrush. We're working on getting him to take it again. He sleeps up to 6 hours at a time at night. His biggest fear right now: running out of milk.

Wyatt: 3 years old. Would rather drink apple juice and chocolate milk all day than eat. Favorite tv shows are Brainsurge and Tom and Jerry. He enjoys driving his sisters jeep, playing ball and flying his kite. Biggest fear right now is thunder. Is very sweet and cuddly with his brother. Sets up "parties" all the time by lining his balloons and action figures on the island in the kitchen, then he invites us to come to the party. He's enjoying preschool a lot more and is starting to speak up more often at school and church.

Bianca: 6 years old. Is over playing princesses every day with me!): I always complained about it and now I miss it. She prefers to do crafts and or homework. She does get book reports all on her own. She's even started to write her own books. I'll make a separate post on that. She wants me to do her hair for her now and has taken an interest in skirts. She's gone all girly! Her best friends are all the kids in her kindergarten class. If she sees someone from her class outside of school she runs up to them and hugs them, acting like she hasn't seen them in 10 years. It's very cute. Biggest fear right now is skeletons. Her and I have been reading Ramona and Beezus at night before bed. She comes home and tells me all about all her boyfriends. She's getting into barbies and her favorite tv show is Spongebob.

Bianca turns 6 and Clark's blessing

Clark is almost 3 months old now and I wanted to see how he looks compared to how Wyatt looked at his age. See the two pics below. I think they look really different. The first pic is Clark, second one is Wyatt.

For C's blessing Eric's sister and my sister and all their kids came out. It was pretty crazy around here but also a lot of fun. The kids were playing nonstop. They were so tired when everyone left that they ASKED to go to bed at 6:30 that night and slept until 7 the next morning! Here is my sis with the babe.

Here are some of the cousins and Bianca doing some art.

Bianca's birthday is April 8th. I don't remember why we decided to do Clark's blessing on her birthday weekend but it all worked out. She's having her party this Saturday. She got to have her "special day" though on her actual birthday. This year she is having a spongebob birthday. One of the presents she asked for was a spongebob pillow.

She had to wait until after dinner to open her presents and she was very excited. Her big present was her first big girl bike with training wheels. I'll put a video in another post. She wanted the barbie bike vs the princess one. She's moving on to Barbies already! It's pretty hilarious, the Barbie bike has a smaller bike on it to put a Barbie doll into.

Eric ordered these special cupcakes for the kids. Wyatt got Elmo and Bianca got Oscar. They were really yummy and cool looking!

So here is Wyatt the day of his blessing in the same outfit Clark wore. I didn't have Clark wear the vest because I didn't love it.
Again, comparing how Wyatt and Clark look....

These are of Clark....

They are both so cute! I love my boys! Clark's blessing went well and we want to thank everyone who came out and those who were thinking of him on his special day.

CuraZEE

CRAZY, that's how the days have been. This boy is such a blessing in our lives! Having a third baby however definitely keeps me busier than before. I'll get more into that in a few.

Update on Clark is he's a SUPER baby. At his one month check up he weighed in at 8 lbs. 8 oz. which was amazing to me considering his birth weight was 6 pounds. He has had no major or minor health problems and is a joy to have around. He is just starting to be awake more often now for longer periods of time. He looks around when he hears his brother and sister and enjoys it when they show him their toys, include him in a game ect. Just kidding about that last part.

Ugh, I look so tired here, but look at that babe! I can already tell he's gonna be a Mama's boy.

Love it that I can put him down about anywhere and he falls asleep. That won't be lasting much longer I'm sure.

The kids are always asking if they can hold him and they do a great job at helping out. They are always running to the rescue with his pacifier when he cries.

Now to the craziness. I am nursing Clark, which takes about 40 minutes at a time. The kids are used to me being a little more mobile. Now that I am sitting so much they have to keep themselves occupied more often which leads to lovely projects such as money arrangements: I call this one "A penny for your thoughts."

Proof of the pacifier plugging. This is Wyatt's doing, Clark didn't seem to mind it though. (It's upside down).

Maybe I should have started sitting around sooner, Bianca has taken to doing the dishes while I nurse...
And poor Wy, I think he gets bored a lot. His new hobby: taping papers around the house. This one is on the pantry. As a good friend of mine once said, "My children are artists and my house is their canvas."
This is pretty much how we roll: Get up at 7:00 am. Feed the babe. Feed the kids, have breakfast. Get Wy ready for school. While baby is napping get myself and B dressed. Feed babe. Pick up Wy from school. Baby naps, do homework with B. Play a little with Wy. Feed baby. Get lunch, get B ready for school. Feed baby. Try to take a quick nap while Wy watches tom and jerry and B is at school. Feed baby. Make dinner, feed baby while Eric gives the kids their bath. Put kids down. Still have the house to clean up, laundry to put away ect. and I'm pooped! Thank goodness Eric helps with those things. Life is good, but so busy! Love to all of you, if I don't return your call right away I may be doing one or more of the above things. (:

Clark Brigham Hall Has Arrived

The little guy arrived a couple weeks early since today was only 36 weeks and 4 days, but he still managed some impressive Apgar scores (8, 9). Baby and mommy are both completely healthy but exhausted. Luckily, they have a few days to rest before coming home to reunite with Bonk and WyWy. Clark weighed in at 6 lbs and 3 oz, slightly less than his siblings who both weighed 6 lbs and 5 oz. He measured 19 inches long. He is excited to meet everyone soon. Drop him a comment below.
