September 2012

This month has been a LONG one. Maybe because it's the transitional month from Summer to Fall and getting back in school and back to work and THAT is a downer for me. I do like Fall because of the leaves changing and the apple picking, the scents of cinnamon, I like making caramel apples and I LOVE Thanksgiving. The hard thing is the illnesses that usually come with it. All three kiddies got sick this month. I know it's just a part of life but I hate it. Bianca just had a 24 hour bug. Wyatt got pneumonia and Clark has begun his inhaler again for the usual respiratory problems he has this time of year. One good thing that began this month was Bianca's ballet/jazz class. This will be her second year in dance and we love the program at her school and her teacher. She does a great job and has so much fun. Plus she is super cute in her dance clothes! (:

Clark is taking after his big brother. One day he just played with these little magnets for almost an hour.

Wylee when he was sick. This is how I know when my kids are really sick, when they fall asleep during the middle of the day. ): He was having trouble breathing and so we took him in. Thank goodness for antibiotics.
Have you ever wanted to deep clean your squinkies? Consider making a squinkie cake. I had to clean them so meticulously to get the frosting out that they have never been cleaner. LOL.
Clark has begun to enjoy drawing. He loves to make pictures with his markers.
Legos are also a favorite past time around here lately.

This was when Bianca was sick, Clark was so sad for her. He kept trying to cuddle up to her but we pushed him away. We didn't want him to catch what she had.
WARNING- Halloween spoilers!

Clark really thought he looked cool in these glasses. And for some reason Bianca really wanted to be a bride this year. Surprisingly they had a costume for that. You'll have to wait until next month to see what the rest of us will be. I know you are hanging on the edge of your seats.
Eric and I are doing well. Adjusting to his seminary schedule. He gets up at 5:15ish to get to class and set up for his 5:45 class. I don't know how he does it. He used to stay up until about 11, the other day I came home from a meeting at 9:15 and he was asleep. (: Poor guy. I know it's a sacrifice for him and his students but I also know both parties are receiving great blessings for it. I received a new calling as the first counselor in the relief society. I was surprised when I got the call and a little sad because I was just getting into my primary calling. But I'm a couple weeks into it now and it's fun. I am excited to work with the women in the ward and for all the things I will learn. Hope you all are well and we love to keep up with your blogs too! Happy September!
