9 months!

Baby boy is 9 months already!! He had his checkup yesterday and is 17 lbs. Which puts him in the 10th percentile! My other two were always in the 5th or below so 10th is AWESOME! He is 50% for length and head measurements.

Clark is a very curious and energetic baby. He LOVES his brother and sister and has started to try to get their attention more and more. He says Hi now but it sounds more like "ha". (: Last week I walked by his room while I thought he was sleeping and heard some strange noises. I went in to find him clapping to himself in his crib. That's his newest trick. He also likes to scream at random times for no reason. haha.
He had some health issues this past month where he got bronchiolitis. I took him to the Dr. because he had a cold and was losing his voice. The Dr. listened to him and said his oxygen levels were low and gave him a breathing treatment right away. Then he ordered an x-ray to be taken which was just downstairs in the same building (so convenient). His x-rays looked good but if his fever kept up the Dr. would have called it pneumonia and prescribed some antibiotics. But the fever went away and we did breathing treatments and steroids at home. It was crazy, I've never experienced this with my other kids. I wonder if some of it is because Clark was premature?> He is doing much better now but I kept the inhaler and mask just in case something were to happen in the future.

His favorite thing to do is sit in the living room with his box of toys and his bus. He makes the bus go back and forth and he also likes to put toys in and take them out of it. He hasn't started crawling but is super good at scooting! This is a first for my kiddies. He can get really far just by scooting on his bum. He hates to be on his tummy. If I put him down that way he just lays his head down in defeat! Too funny. Look at my little pumpkin boy!

One of the things I think is the cutest about this boy is how he crosses his feet all the time. He does this when he's sitting on the floor too but his legs are bent more. Yeah he's all about chillaxing in front of the TV. His favorite show - Yo Gabba Gabba of course. He loves DJ Lance and Mark. He doesn't really watch TV a lot, it just tends to calm him down when he's fussy sometimes.

This boy naps like a champ. I sing him a song or two then put him in is crib and he goes to sleep on his own. The problem is at night. He still gets up every 3 hours or so and I don't know why... he can fall asleep on his own but has a hard time putting himself back to sleep at night I guess. Ugh. I am destined to never have a good sleeper!  Clark is still nursing but eating lots of solids too. He also takes a sippy cup. His favorite foods are table foods. Graham crackers, pizza crust, and nuggets. He loves plums, peaches, apples, corn, noodles, cucumbers, and oatmeal. He also likes the baby food mixes of chicken and rice and chicken and veggies. He loves the little gerber puffs too.
Love my baby boy and so grateful he is part of our family!
