Visit with The Halls
As some of you know Eric's parent's came out to help watch the kids while I was recovering from my surgery. We lived with them in Utah before we moved out here so the kids, especially Bianca, are particularly fond of them. It was so nice to have them here to help out. They happened to be here on Margrit's birthday so I had to make her a cake of course. Although when i went to decorate it my hands weren't as steady as they usually are due to the meds so it didn't go quite as planned but still I thought it was cute. And very yummy, so I heard!
We saw a totally new side to Wyatt while the grandparents were here. He just turned into a little prince and let himself, no actually demanded to be spoiled. Here he had Gramps set him up with a pillow, blanket, hot dogs, pickles, and a tv show. And after all that he still looks unhappy, little turkey. He did love having them here though and was constantly playing with them and giving them loves.
Here they are with Grandma. Wyatt actually called her Grandma, where with Grandpa he called him "that guy" for some reason.
Grandma is a crazy quilter and brought the kids each their own quilt. This one is Wyatt's. It is awesome, with a train track, and trains, and mountain, water, the whole nine.
Wyatt had a great time playing with it. It also has a matching wall hanging for his room.
And these are just some pics I took of the awesome sunset we had one day while they were here. You can see the sun in the background with the shadows right in front. It was after a rain storm. I love our back yard, you never know what you'll see out there, so I'm constantly looking. Thanks for coming to visit Gram and Gramps, we love you!
