Backyard Fun

This Summer has been a lot of fun. We've spent so much time in our backyard. And we've had a few surprises. Eric found a snake while mowing about a month ago. Then he found....... the baby frog. The kids LOVED it.

I remember collecting tons of frogs just like these with my cousins in Sacramento. There were enough to fill up a dollhouse with. It was awesome. So when I saw this little guy, it was kind of like seeing an old friend. (: Both Wyatt and Bianca loved to watch it but when it came time to hold it, they both backed away. I would pick him up and then put him down where they could see him. He was quick though and got under the barbecue. Luckily it wasn't on!

Bianca followed it around hopping behind it. So cute.

I finally found a place to put him where he would sit for a minute. On Wyatt's new beach ball. He was nice and wet there....

Aside from the fun findings behind our house we've had fun playing in the water and on the slide and just running around. Wyatt likes to go in the pool, or play in the water and then come sit in his chair in his towel to take a break. He sits for about 2 minutes and then he's ready for more.


And I couldn't leave this video out. This is what the kids (mostly Bianca) have done almost every day before dinner. We really do love our backyard and are sad to see the Summer going....
