Here are our kids with Robyn's. From left to right: Daniel, Hailey, Katie, Bianca, Wyatt, and Ryan.
Bianca was pretty much playing non stop with Katie but at one point I couldn't find her. This is what she finally slowed down to do: watch Daniel play his Nintendo 64 in his room. They were chatting while playing. Daniel used to be a real trouble maker, always up to something but I have to say he has turned into a very sweet boy.
Me and my girl...
Bianca and Hannah being silly. Hannah is Robyn's neice.
Wyatt was having a balloon withdrawal so Daniel showed him some balloon pictures he had on his camera. It was so thoughtful.
The three youngest ready for church...
Daniel was SO excited for his baptism. (That was meant to be sarcastic)> (: He really was excited about it, he was just chillin before we left for a minute...
These are I think all of the cousins on Robyn's husbands side. One of the family's has 11 kids!!! Of course it had to be my kid who put up a fight to be in the picture. Little turkey.
Bianca was especially happy to see Eric's parents, she calls them her Grandma and Haga.

After church on Sunday the kids played a little in the backyard with water balloons.
Then on Monday we went to Silver Beach in Michigan. It is THE BOMB! It's a lake and it's super shallow for a long way out and fresh water. It was awesome for little kids and for swimming. I want to live near this beach so I can go all the time. Here are the kids again looking so stylish in their swim gear.
And Robyn will probably kill me for putting this picture up. She is so funny. This is Eric's sister and his Mom Margrit. We love you guys!
One last picture of the beach before we go..... Goodbye beach, I love you. sniff sniff. Check out the cute little light house on the pier. We had a great time. It's so fun for the family to be together. We can't wait to go back again. Two funny things that happened on the trip. 1) I left my flip flops at their house. I still don't know how I left without shoes.. 2) A lady stopped us at the Cracker Barrel to tell me I was such a good mother..... because I let Bianca wear her tinker bell costume in the restaurant. haha. If that makes me a good mother bring it on!!!! Love it.
Welcome back! If you were *such* a good mother, you'd support your daughter by also wearing a Tinkerbell outfit (with wings) at the restaurant.
ReplyDeleteI love the beaches in Michigan...thinking of them remind me of many great, fun childhood memories! I swear I've stood at that spot you took the last picture. Glad you had a good time. I'm starting to miss my hometown roots :(
ReplyDeleteEveryone keeps telling me we need to go to Michigan. It looks really nice! The pic of you and Bianca is so cute.
ReplyDeletelooks like so much fun! Miss and love you- The kids are looking so big!:)
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like an awesome beach! I am right behind you on the tinkerbell costumes out of the house...as long as she's got clothes and shoes on its all good right.
