Flower Boy

Sunday we had some friends over and we were all in the backyard. Suddenly I realized that I didn't know where Wyatt was. I walked around the play set and found him picking "flowers" on our hill:

I've been noticing lately that Wyatt likes his alone time. When there is a crowd of people he will be social and play but after a little while he likes to go off on his own and do something by himself.
He is definitely a collector. He collects marbles, hair pins, markers, anything really that there is more than one of. It was time to collect some flowers. I love this face that he is making below. Maybe trying to decide if a certain flower is worthy of picking.... hmmmm.

This is a good shot of his little curls in the back. I can pull them out pretty far now, it may be time for a hair cut.
I have to say this little guy is growing on me. I love to see his personality come out and discover the things he likes and dislikes. Right now he will eat anything that I'm eating, including broccoli. I love that he tries anything at least once. He also prefers "owl juice" (apple juice) over carbonated beverages like his sister.



He is a chatter box now. He'll do something and then say, "See at Mommy?" Did you see that Mommy? He talks all the time and repeats what we say. He follows Bianca around like a little puppy and wants to do everything she does. (See last post) She demands that he come to the bathroom with her as he was deemed her "toilet paper hander" the minute he could walk. She's a bit bossy... (:

I really love my boy. Eric keeps pushing for a third child. I honestly feel like if I have too many kids I will miss something that one of them does. Sounds lame I know but it's true. Or somehow miss out on them growing up. I still can't believe Wyatt is two! I just want to cherish everything about them and enjoy them while they are little.
