It has rained a lot this month. I've heard it from people who have lived here all their lives, that you never know what you will get with Cincinnati weather. One day it could be 75 degrees, the next day there could be a hail storm. This happened a few days ago. Not loving the rain so much but I do love it right afterwards. I took a picture of our backyard. You see how the sun is over on the hill but a cloud is over our patio. There was a rainbow that day too but the camera didn't catch it. I love the smell of the air after it rains, and the stillness outside.
We've been thinking of getting a ball pit for Wyatt for a long time now and just haven't gotten to it. I finally bit the bullet and just bought a $7.00 pool and filled it with soft balls.
The kids loved it................. At first I was thinking, we need to get more balls, but then Wyatt started throwing them around the house and I changed my mind. One bag will suffice for now.
The kids are taking over the computer! Bianca is constantly on nickjr or pbskids. And Wyatt can get up there by himself too. He asks for a song called, "Halloween", on utube from the Yo Gabba Gabba show. He loves that video, and he will watch it over and over. I guess it's my fault for singing it to him all the time. My nephew Isaiah had his 3rd birthday this month. My sister made this cake for him. I thought she did an awesome job.
Here is Isaiah bowling and Bianca behind him in line. The party was a lot of fun. I'm so glad we live close enough to have our kids grow up together.
One of the presents Bianca wanted and cried for for her birthday this month was this play doh kit. She is a girl after my own heart. It's a dentist kit. You make the teeth out of play doh and it comes with a drill, mirror, and tweezers.
Bianca put on her Dr. coat and went to town. She took care of those cavities like a pro. (:
We also had a visit this month from one of my best friends Jeni and her daughter Madison. We've been friends since Junior High School. Crazy! Sweet that she also lives in IN, close by. We went to the zoo and hung out. Bianca loves it when Madison comes out, they fight the whole time but then they are sad when they are apart, typical for little kids, I'm finding...Thanks for coming out Jeni and Madison! We love you!
Here is a little video I took of something Wyatt has been doing lately. So funny, he puts his hands behind his back and walks around like that. Also you gotta see these party favors my sister gave the kids, these little sucker balls stick so well, even the smallest kids can throw them and get them to stick.We went and bought a pack at Target after the party because we don't nearly have enough balls in this house..... (that was a joke)

I'm glad you took pictures on that night, too! It stopped raining and the sun came out and it made all the greens SO green and brought out the detail in the trees. ... Unfortunately, none of my pictures turned out very well. Thanks for posting yours!

She is growing up so fast!:) That's funny that she chose that since we know you love dentistry:) I'm glad the kids had fun at the party and jenny was able to come visit- fun fun... we love and miss you guys- can't wait for july!
ReplyDeleteLOL That's awesome they love those balls so much, and the dentist kit for Bianca cracks me up considering your history of loving teeth. The kids got a blow up pool from the parents you know, and I was thinking of getting them some balls for it too. Where did you get the pack of balls and how much? Love that pictures of outside too. I always think it looks so beautiful too after it rains here- so green, and like the colors are all at their peak.
