Things have been picking up a little in the Hall house this month. We've been busy. Remember how I talked about that 75 degree day. While I was cleaning the garage and the car out that day this is what Eric was doing inside the house:I think he's building a reputation for himself with the ward. We were asked to bring 1-2 dozen cookies for a service project and Eric took over. He loves making sugar cookies AND decorating them. Great job babe. He went with an Easter theme here.
I on the other hand would rather do something not so messy. I discovered these last year at Micheals. Easter egg foam kits. LOVE IT. Comes with stickers, glitter glue and tons of eggs to decorate. Bianca loved doing them. I did a few myself and we hung them around the house. While we were working on them I asked Bianca to give me some ideas about what she wants for her birthday coming up. I made a list:
- stickerbook
- a new princess picture for her room
- caring corners dollhouse

- sleeping beauty color wonders
- princess puzzle
- princess pillow
- princess blanket
- princess shoes
- princess snow white bow

New things I noticed about Bianca this month. She is very observant. She notices the smallest things from a new color nail polish on my toes to Daddy getting a hair cut. She remembers places, and names very well. She does this cute little laugh with her tongue against her front teeth. And when I ask her a question she doesn't know the answer to she stalls by saying, "welllllll". She is starting to ask me how to spell things. She knows her alphabet, gets M and W mixed up sometimes. But she writes the first letter of our first names on all of her paper crafts. E, L, W, B. During the day when Wyatt naps her and I like to play video games. Her hand eye coordination is awesome. She's super good at mario kart. Also, she has started napping again! I'm so amazed by this. At some point during quiet time she will ask me to play Zelda, and she falls asleep almost everyday. (hence me being able to make this post) (: She still wears pull ups at night but since she's sleeping through the night I'll let her wear them as long as she needs to. She also enjoys cooking with Daddy. In fact yesterday when she had a meltdown because I wouldn't let her have her 2nd push pop for the day, Daddy made pancakes with her just to cheer her up. What a nice Daddy. Something else she has started to do which is not so good is write in books. She loves to do look and
find books and circle the objects when she finds them. We have to remind her not to write on books as this could lead to writing in text books at school, ect.. Still has a very stubborn streak and has refused her time outs or staying in her room lately. But overall, cheery demeanor. Very bright and loving. She loves to sing, and favors, the princess songs of course for the moment. This is a pic of her standing next to one of Daddy's posters. He finally found a frame to fit it in.
Last but not least the little man. He definitely has a strong personality as well. He's still going throug the separation anxiety. Mostly in the mornings and after nap. But also if I even go near the shoes in the house, or the coat closet or open a window or door (our security system makes a beep when anything is opened) he runs screaming to me and wants me to pick him up. Sometimes I know this sounds funny but I think if he could he would eat me. He loves kissing me, chewing on my face, laying on me. When he was about 6 months he always put his mouth over my chin and sucked on it. Now he's back to doing that but he has teeth! A cute thing he does is SING! I love that my kids sing. He sings, "I know you ....once upon a deeeeeem. From sleeping beauty. He also sings twinkle twinkle and some songs from the show Yo Gabba Gabba. He also sings the theme song from Caillou. And since Bianca is always playing princesses guess what he gets to do.... play princesses. I caught him making them pretend talk the other day all by himself. So hilarious! Definitely a story for the girls he dates later on. (: Wyatt also counts to 10. He says the number 5 with the most passion. Guess he likes that one the best. And what else about Wyatt. He loves to be outside. He still loves balls and balloons. Whenever I'm in another room he calls out, "Momeeeeee!!" Very cute. And he's sleeping A TON better. Eric spotted some teeth coming in so he had an excuse. Now he's sleeping through the night. Yay! Still on the bottle. Having a hard time getting him to let it go. But I haven't tried a ton since he's been having the separation stuff. Maybe I'll try again in another month or so. So there's the haps for the fam and friends. On a side note a friend of mine told me that snapfish or shutterfly,, one of them will print your blog onto a book for you, up to 140 posts or something. I'm totally going to look into that. I kind of use this as an open journal and I would love to have it in print for the kids to see when they get older. Anyway, just an FYI for you bloggers.!
P.S I'm still looking for any recipes you are willing to share for the recipe blog I have going. And thank you to those who have contributed to it so far.!!!!!
