Wyatt is changing so fast. All of a sudden he is Super attached to me. He follows me around the house, wants to be held by me whenever possible. He cries when I leave the room. And when we are getting ready to go somewhere he cries for me to hold him so I can't even get my shoes on! I have to get him ready and put him in the car and then get my jacket and shoes on. I guess he thinks I'm going to leave him. What is going on? I don't remember Bianca being like this. It could just be a bout of separation anxiety.
He did start nursery at church this month, maybe that is contributing to it. He is the only child in nursery who still drinks out of a bottle. But that is getting less too when I figured out another new thing about him....He kept throwing a fit and bending his legs when I would try to put him in his high chair so after a week or so of this I tried letting him eat with his sister at her table and boom, he's back to eating real food again. He must think he is too big for his high chair. Little turkey.

Bianca is really into her arts and crafts, maybe because that is what I buy for her but she enjoys them and is good at them. This is a sticker mosaic that I found at Meier. It's like paint by number but with stickers, and the key is on the box. I think it's a really neat idea. And it turned out nice. She hung this in her room after it was done.
The other things Bianca loves to do is play dress up princess, play with her little princesses, pretend to be a Dr. with her Dr. kit, play memory with Mommy, and do her Look and Find books.

Another craft....These are beads that are ironed together. You can find these kits at Micheals. The box comes with beads, ironing paper and the shapes to put the beads on. You'll see below.
Bianca is starting pre school this September so I'm trying to prepare her to sit at a table and focus on an activity. We took her to her open house a few weeks ago and I started tearing up! I watched her check out the room and the activities and saw her sit down on the reading mat. She is definitely ready for school and I'm excited for her.
She's been changing a lot lately too. She tells me stories now and says the funniest things. The other day Eric asked her if she wanted another baby. She said, "No Daddy, just baby Wyatt." When he pushed the topic she stated, "I don't want another baby Daddy, that is not a request!"I thought that was a super funny thing to say and then I realized she got that from watching Beauty and the Beast. When the Beast says, "You will join me for dinner, this is not a request!" Too funny. At night before she goes to sleep we talk about what she will dream about. When I ask her if she will dream about something we did that day she says, "no, Mommy, I'm not going to dream about old things, just new things (I guess meaning things that haven't happened yet). Interesting. It's really fun getting to know her and I just love her personality. I just love my kiddies more than life! And I'm so grateful for them.
On to Eric and I..... NO we don't have any news. Eric is just happily working away at the Children's Hospital. We are very blessed that the economic situation has not affected him at his job. He is working with the boy scouts in the church and teaches the young men on Sunday. I have recently taken up yoga, well just started. And am looking forward to getting better posture and learning how to relax and meditate. And I teach gospel principles every Sunday at church. Eric and I are both looking forward to having some family visitors in March and April. Yay!!!

ReplyDeleteCarson is going through the exact same thing as Wyatt! I just got a kick out the fact that you have to put him in his carseat and then get your things, I do the same thing. It's hard when they are so clingy, but I am enjoying it!
