Trip to Utah

We got back from Utah on Saturday night. We left there at 6 am, drove 30 minutes to the airport, took a plane for 3 hours, had a 2 hour layover, then took another plane for an hour, then drove 2 hours to get home. It was a busy day. All the way home Eric and I were saying how we think we will buy people tickets to come out and see us instead of us going to them because it is so long and hard with two little ones. We'll see about that. (: Anyway it was worth it. It was a lot of fun. Wyatt was shy with Grandma and Grandpa at first and was staying close to Eric and I a lot. That's the first time that he's been like this.

The kids played a lot more together, as the adults were usually playing Yahtzee or some other game. They liked to find hiding places in their new environment. Sorry for the flash, I didn't have my camera and was using one that I wasn't used to.








The kids got to open some presents early so they were happy. Here is Valerie (Eric's sister) and her boyfriend Chad helping Wyatt open a present:











Bianca got a new dress to play dress up in, she looked so cute. The kids were funny because when we got home they were surprised to see their toys. I think they thought they had to leave them in Utah.

We were able to celebrate my birthday while we were there. Eric made me a cake. It was really yummy! Thanks Rico!

It was good to see all of you in Utah and we wish we could have stayed longer. We would love for you to visit us too if you are ever in the area and we are really super excited that Mandy and Ben are coming out in March. Yay!!
