So the update on what is happening is that we are scheduled to fly out to Ohio to look at houses the beginning of April. We are approved for a loan and have the down payment for a house! Yay! We have a bunch that we are going to see, as excited as I am for the trip I'm also a little anxious about leaving Bianca for three nights. She has become very close with Grandma and Grandpa but I still think she might have a tough time. Hopefully she'll do better than I think. We are taking Wyatt just because I don't think Grandpa and Grandma want to get up with him in the middle of the night and he's easier to tote around and not as high maintenance. We could have a house as soon as mid May. Eric and I were talking the other day about how we see the houses online and they are nice to look at but we can't really imagine living there. It is exciting.
Bianca is gaining weight because her eating habits have improved since we took the bottle away. Although she has had a couple of cravings. The other day at 5:00 in the morning she came into our room crying for "strawbeez". So I thought, she must just be sleep talking/walking, whatever but I went to get her some and she ate half the basket! Then she fell asleep on the couch. Then last night just as we were getting ready for a bath she threw a fit because she wanted bananas. We had to go to the store anyway so Eric took her. I'm glad she is eating better and more, she has a lot of months to make up for.
Wyatt is growing fast. Still eating 24/7. And he has started to notice when Mommy leaves a room. Eric was feeding him last night and he saw me walk by and cried for me. When I picked him up he went right for my chin. I think that's how he gives me kisses. My sister caught a picture of it:
Yeah it was hard trying to catch a picture of it!:) He's such a doll. Well we're excited for you guys that everything is going so well with the move! Don't worry about Bonk- we'll come visit her- I'm sure she'll miss you but she will be okay I think. Love you guys!
ReplyDeleteHow funny that he would latch onto your chin...what a cutie!
ReplyDeleteMy daughter used to do the same thing to my chin! Thanks for your previous message on my blog! Good luck on your house hunting next month! It was fun meeting you at Adam's party!
ReplyDeleteWith a "chin kiss" like that, I guess it's a good thing he doesn't have teeth yet! JK So glad Bianca's eating better. :) Have fun house-hunting...
