FAT
Tonight I went to Aeropostale in the mall. I haven't bought new clothes for so long that I don't even know my size. When I took my size 5/6 bermuda shorts I was excited about to the dressing room I felt like a fat cow. I couldn't even get them past my knees. And the small shirt was a joke too, I managed to get it on but I almost ripped it getting it off. Ugh I guess I need to stop shopping at teenage stores, my body has obviously morphed since having two kids. Anyone have any suggestions of where to shop now>? I know, I'm a little behind in the fashion world... I'm only 30! I need to start dressing like it I guess. BlaHHHHHHHHHHHHH, goodbye bermudas..sniff sniff

you're silly- you are not fat! you can still shop there just get bigger sizes- and just because you have a bigger size doesn't men anything- they run small- I can't get a small shirt there either- really. Don't get down on yourself.
ReplyDeleteI don't think your fat...it's the crazy sizing they do in those stores. Old Navey is a little more realistic with their sizes, but I would say I've had the same experience in that store. Girls that can fit in those clothes are toothpicks. I love that store, but I've just had to buy the bigger size and just blame the store not my body : ).
ReplyDeleteYou can still wear bermuda shorts with a cute girly top. My favorite store is Cato's and I don't believe that's in Utah. I would check out "Shade" clothing- modest clothes for women- they have some really cute stuff and I'm pretty sure all the stores are only in Utah. Otherwise you order online or through a catalog. Also, see if Old Navy works for you...maybe Express or even Target. ? Good luck. :) Yeah, kids will change your body, but just remember, as I am reminded in my blessings, that our bodies will be perfect again one day. Until then, we just have to adjust. ;) And maybe get a new workout program. lol I've never been into Aeropostale so I can't comment on that.
ReplyDeleteOld Navy and Geoffrey Beane are my favs. Try Old Navy online too because it's $5 shipping.
ReplyDeleteOh yeah, and you're not fat.
