The Homemaker
My last day at work for a while was Friday. I feel weird being at home all day. Being a "homemaker" is a lot of work. More than I thought it would be, and as you can see by the pictures I'm not quite into it yet. In some ways it's easier to go to work. You get breaks for lunch and can actually be productive. I feel like if I clean up one thing, Bianca is into another at home. Oh well. This is how it will be for a while. Makes me have a new appreciation for stay home Moms.(: Here are some pictures of the basement apartment. The blinds aren't up yet, and we still have things to put away but you get the idea.

ReplyDeleteAh yes, regularly scheduled lunch breaks, feeling productive, working without constant interruptions... I love being home with my kids, but sometimes, I really have to remind myself that actually accomplishing things (like a clean kitchen) isn't what's most important. :) I hope you enjoy your time at home with your little ones!
