Bianca's 7th Birthday

Bianca's birthday fell on Easter Sunday this year but we celebrated it the Saturday before. We had two celebrations actually because all of her cousins have birthdays in April as well so my sister and I decided to have all the kids together and have a big party. It was super fun. I love this picture because everyone is smiling! We had a great time together.

Bianca wanted a barbie birthday so I attempted this cake. The wondermold kit that a friend generously bought for Bianca helped a lot. Bianca loved it so that was what mattered most. She's still young so I can get away with not so perfect work. (:

Here is her barbie themed table.

And the girls that came. A few friends from school and one from church. They were all so cute together.  They played "stick the sunglasses on barbie" and had an Easter egg hunt outside.

Madelyn got Bianca two ballerina barbies. One that represented her and one that represented Bianca. Too cute.

And not to say a few words about my girl at 7 yrs. old. She is very attentive to others. She notices everyone around her and makes sure to include those who are shy or hesitant. She prides herself in being nice to everyone. She is also a feeder. Anytime anyone is over she makes them a snack. When her cousins were here she got out a piece of paper and pen and went around taking food orders and preparing them. She loves to organize and help out. She likes rules. Instead of just going to jump on our neighbors trampoline she will have everyone gather around and tell them rules to a game. She likes order and likes to be in charge. She has high expectations of herself and gets upset if she misses a word on her spelling tests in school but she is very forgiving of others. Her teacher says that she usually finishes her work early and goes around the classroom helping others. She loves to read. She also enjoys computer games, especially ones from school. She is growing up but still likes me to cuddle her, even in public! Yay! She wants to play by herself or with her friends now but not with me. She says she gets embarressed. She is getting better and riding her bike and is almost ready to get training wheels taken off. She prepares awesome family home evening lessons with a little help from ldssplash.com. Her favorite foods are STILL chicken nuggets and fries and pizza. At least she will try other things now but doesn't eat very much of anything else, except sandwiches at school. Her favorite TV shows are TUFF Puppy and The Fairly Odd Parents (unfortunately). She likes to play "baby" with Wyatt, where she is his Mom. She is still my favorite girl in the whole world and I'm so glad she's mine! (: We love you Bianca and are so happy you are in our family. We hope you had a great birthday and look forward to many more. Love, Mom, Dad, Wyatt, and Clark
