Sunshine day

Clark's cake had to have something to do with cars since they are his favorite thing. I found a cake like this one on the web and copied the idea. He loved the cake, but licking the frosting off the wheels of the car was the highlight. Can't believe my baby is one!

We've had some health issues this Winter, mainly RSV. I think Bianca brought it home from school. She was sick for weeks with a nasty cold. Then Clark got it. He has respiratory problems since birth so it wasn't pretty. He had some breathing treatments and a chest x-ray for pneumonia which came back negative. Thank goodness. He was put on steroids, his first antibiotic for ear inflammation and a preventative inhaler in addition to his albuterol. He's getting used to the inhaler and doesn't cry every time now which is nice since he has to take it twice a day.

This February has been beautiful. In the 40's and 50's! It's a good thing because the boys are always excited to get outside.I put a sleeping bag out on the patio since the ground was a little chilly but the sun felt so nice.

Wyatt is very lovey with his baby brother. He has his moments of being a little too crazy with Clark or times when he yanks on his clothes or pulls his pants off (he thinks it's so funny to see Clark's diaper butt) but for the most part he is very protective of him and always looking out for him and likes to play with him. Clark of course LOVES it when Wyatt plays ball or cars with him. And he loves to watch him play.

I thought this pic was so funny of Clark with his tongue sticking out.

Bianca is enjoying school. It seems like I don't get to see her that much anymore! So I look forward to and really enjoy when she has little breaks like she did this past president's day. She has been through the first two Junie B. Jones series of books and is a great reader. I was able to help at her school for her Valentines Day party and it was so much fun.
Wyatt is growing like a weed! He went from wearing 24 month sized pants until he was 3 to 5T now that he is 4. Crazy. And his cousin gave him these pants for church that remind me of Z Calvarrici's. Do you remember those!? LOL. I always laugh when he wears them, they are so cute.

I love my kiddies and feel very grateful to be able to be home with them. Eric and I are doing OK. I recently pulled a rib muscle from coughing of all things and it's one of the most painful things I've experienced. I think due to the fact that it's taking so long to heal, it's been almost 3 weeks now and it hurts so bad when I cough or sneeze or accidentally turn on my side in my sleep. I just received a new calling in church as the primary secretary that I'm excited about. Eric is still Elder's Quorum President and is anxiously awaiting a new calling. (: He enjoys it but has been in there for almost 3 years and is ready for something new. We both look forward to spending time together after the kids are in bed. We watch some of our favorite shows which are, The Celebrity Apprentice, The Fringe, and old episodes of Lois and Clark. We both also like to play word games on the computer and Eric is really into some look and find type game on facebook. He got Bianca into it as well and so they do that together. Life is good.

  3. Really Liz, I keep finding more and more things we have in common. Word games… I'm like the word freak…LOVE scrabble and now I'm totally addicted to Scramble (on my iphone). What games do you like? Preston just got over bronchiolitis and had to have treatments with arbuterol. I'm sorry Clark has dealt with that. Definitely not fun. Great job on the cake by the way!
