Bianca
The other day we were on our way out the door and I couldn't get Bianca downstairs. I kept calling her name and she just was lagging big time! After she went to school I went upstairs to put some of her clothes away and found out what she was doing. She was laying out her clothes for that night and the next day:
She is a planner. She likes to organize things. She will tell me, "Ok Mama, here's the plan." Or, "this is what will happen." When she was younger she had a hard time transitioning from one thing to another, or from one place to another so I began to tell her things way ahead of time so she would feel prepared. Now she is able to do this for herself. That's my girl!
Something she's been big on lately is what we like to call "the set up". Daddy comes home from work and she tells him to sit on the couch. She wants to take his socks off, and get him a blanket and put a show on for him and of course feed him. Somehow I've never gotten her to do this for me? (: She likes to organize snacks for the family any chance she gets.
She's letting me do things with her hair since she started school and this is my favorite hairstlye of hers. I think it's adorable.
When she got her face painted at Coney Island she chose her favorite animal which is a flamingo.
Every Thursday at her school she has "gym day" where she has to wear gym type clothes and athletic shoes. One day she wanted to wear her back up sweats from Disneyland. I begged her not to as they are slightly heinous looking and I only got them bc she got soaked on a ride there and was freezing and they were the only pants I could find at the time. But after she came downstairs I changed my mind. This girl can even make sweats look good! By attaching a makeshift belt and a headband. She's got way more style than me. haha.

Wow, Bianca looks to much older, I guess I haven't seen her for awhile; but I prefer to blame it on kindergarten.
ReplyDeletedude- I love Bonk so much it hurts- I wish I could see her- she is so thoughtful and smart- such a good girl:)
ReplyDeleteSo cute! I love her cute sweats! Unfortunately I think my girls got their fashion genes from me which are totally non-existant. Poor kids :-)
ReplyDeleteThat sounds a lot like my little Lauren. She is a planner too and every night after prayer she has to go over "the plan" for the next day. We also started this because of her trouble transitioning. I love how Bianca even put her underwear and pull-up in between her pants. Too cute! I think the sweats are adorable-and look perfect for gym day!
