This week Bianca attended Bible school at a local christian church. She LOVED it. I wasn't sure how she would do being that her first day she didn't know anyone in her group but she really enjoyed it and told me all about it on the way home. I'm so glad. Each day she learned a new bible story from the New Testament and there was a message to go with it for example, "God's word is comforting", "God's word is surprising." Here is a picture of her with her group.
The theme was "High Sea Adventures" so there were pirates involved. This is Petey the Pirate who visited with them everyday. One of Bianca's good friends Matthew joined the group on the second day, they were excited to be together.
She was introduced to some really fun worship songs that her and Wyatt love to dance to, I got them on video (see below). Overall Bianca had a great experience, we look forward to doing it again next Summer.

VBS is the best. I am highly looking forward to cheap babysitting, I mean, high scriptoral learning.

ReplyDeleteVBS is one of those cultural phenomenons I totally missed out on by growing up in the West. Our kids are going this week.
