T-Ball and potty training

My little kiddies are just growing so fast! Bianca has gotten much better about going to preschool and getting out of the house in general. She still has her moments but for the most part she is getting into the habit of being active. Some friends of ours told us about a t-ball team starting and so we signed Bianca up. She was very excited to go and the after the first practice she was upset that she had to leave the field.

Wyatt also thinks he is on the team. He has a great arm. We've been practicing at home and with Wyatt at the practices. He was sad that he didn't have his own ball so Eric got him one on the way home from work. He LOVES it! He was soooo happy.

Here is Bianca batting for the first time. She was upset that she didn't hit the ball, looks like she is a little hard on herself so we talked to her about it. We're trying to teach her that it's about having fun and teamwork.

Here she is in her "stance", so cute. practicing catching. I'm so proud of my little girl! This is her first sport.

Now onto the boy. (: Today he decided to take his diaper off and follow Bianca to the potty. He wants to be a big boy! I was in shock. Bianca never wanted to potty train, I had to basically force her at age 3 1/2. And still it took a long time. Maybe it's because he watches her all the time that he got motivated. Anyway I got him a stool and got Bianca's potty seat out and he has been doing great! Been going like every 6 minutes but still, Great! We don't have any big boy underpants for him but he was happy and proud to wear a pair of Bianca's tinkerbell panties. I should have gotten a butt shot, he had a major wedgie earlier, it was hilarious, but here are the pics I got... I was praising him in this pic so I suppose this is his "proud" face.

and one candid.

  4. That is quite a proud little moment. (I love the Tinkerbell undies!) :)

There are some aspects of parenting that are not fun. Potty training is one of those. I am not ashamed to admit it... I. HATE. IT. We had so many failures with poor Lauren, it was awful! (She was also nearly four years old!) Then, Brooke came along and she was trained in four hours!!! It was a shock to me.

    And yippee for Tee-ball!
