Mom's Night

Last night was "Mom's Night" at Bianca's preschool. I thought I was more excited for it than Bianca was until we left. It was at 8:00 which is Bianca's bedtime and she was thrilled that we went out of the house when it was dark. All the way there she was telling me stories about the kids in her class and her teacher. Her school is a co op so I do help out there once a month but when we got there she was acting as if this was the first time I had seen anything, too funny. We went into her classroom and played, she showed me around and introduced me to some friends.
The first day of school I was so nervous for her to have a good day, this is her first year. I remember watching the clock so closely and I was the first Mom back to pick her up. I spotted her on the playground holding hands with this little gem, Kendal. She is her best friend at preschool and is such a cute and friendly little girl. When she saw Bianca at Mom's night she went right up to her and gave her a big hug!

And here she is with a few more favorites, it's funny because none of these girls are actually in her class but she still sees them at circle time.

They have an imaginary play section in her room and this week it's the "library". She was anxious to check out some books for me.

Her teacher's name is Mrs. Thinnes. Pronounced tennis. She is very attentive and caring with the children. Could not have asked for a better teacher to start my little girl off right.

I hesitated to put this in but this just is so Bianca to answer the question the way she did. The teacher read these papers out loud that the students had filled out with her earlier in the year. She wanted us to guess who's was who's. You can click on it to see it up closer. I knew it was Bianca's because she had her little belly on her stick figure. She's the only kid I know who does that and I didn't teach it to her. All the other kids put my Mom is funny when she tickles me or when she tells a joke, Bianca told the teacher that I am funny when I shake my bum, to which the teacher added to all the Mom's that she also gave a great demonstration of. UGH> The embarrassment! Have to admit it was pretty funny though. The night ended with a song, as seen below. It was a great night!

  3. I loved Mom night at preschool! Andrew said some of the funniest things about me. My picture was of a really, really, really pregnant woman. Lucky me. Mrs. Thinnes Rocks. Enough said.
