Eric is very talented in his "presentations" if you will, had to show this one off. No, you can't just have a regular veggie tray at the Hall house, it has to be in the shape of a Christmas tree. So proud. (:
After our friends left we did our tradition of opening Christmas jammies from Grama and Grampa. I thought this little tutu was such a cute idea. I had never seen jammies like that. After jammies we played a little Wii, our early Christmas present from "Santa". Eric and I put the kids to bed and then opened our stockings together and a few presents. We like to do that so we can just focus on the kids Christmas morning. I really look forward to Christmas Eve because of the time we spend together just opening presents and talking. Overall I'd say fun times were had by all.
We had talked about the meaning of Christmas during our family home evenings all month long so Bianca knows we celebrate it because of the birth of our Savior. I think this is the first year that she has gotten that concept and it's been really heart warming to see her learn about who He was and why He came to Earth. She helped and watched us do service projects for our friends who needed a little cheer this year. She's been asking more questions lately and asked Why we help this person do that, or do this for that person, ect. and we told her because we are trying to be like Jesus and he loved everyone and wanted to help as many people as he could. I think it made this Christmas season more meaningful for the whole family. I especially love Christmas because no matter what faith you are, for the most part, it brings everyone together in the common belief in Christ and the feeling of joy and gratitude that he came to Earth to save us and to leave the perfect example. I'm so grateful for Him and for this time of year to celebrate His life.
love the veggie tray. Love the testimony more, you rock.
