I'm creating a new label titled Bonk Talk. Bianca has been speaking for a while now but just recently she has started asking a lot more questions and is thinking about things out loud. A few nights ago before bed she said, "Mommy, I want to tell you something." (She says this all the time to get my undivided attention) I respond, "Tell me".
Bianca: Did you know if you don't have a lot of money, you can just live in a box.
Me: Laugh, What?
Bianca: It's true! You can live in a box on a boat and eat inside it until it gets shipped away.
Me: Where did you hear that?
Bianca: I just was thinking of it.
Here's another one from yesterday:
Bianca: Mom, why does God make people?
Me: He makes people to love us and help us and be our friends (OK so my answers aren't always perfect, she caught me off guard)
Bianca: But I thought we died and came back to life?
Me: Are you talking about Easter? When Jesus came back to life?
Bianca: Yes!!! Very satisfied that I "understood" her.
wow! I'm impressed! She is so smart- sometimes it sounds silly to us as adults- they way they put things- but the concepts she is attempting to speak on are really quite advanced- you guys must be good teachers!:)
