Yesterday Bianca gave her first talk in primary. We practiced it almost every night the week prior. We sat down to get ideas from her about what she wanted to talk about. The topic was family responsibilites. So I wrote out a couple of sentences as she said them. This was the result:
Families can be together forever. That is why we should love each other and our Heavenly Father. My Mommy and Daddy ask me to pray, to be nice to my brother, and to get my jammies out before bed. I know when I do what my Mommy and Daddy ask I will be happy. I love my family.
I was a little nervous for her because she gets shy easily in groups. But when she got up there she was so excited. She spoke loudly and clearly, and she was so happy. Afterwards she was so proud of herself and I was so proud of her. I was up there with her telling her what to say which was fun but I wish I could have seen her give it. I''m looking forward to her giving more in the future and to see her develop spiritually.

ReplyDeleteyeah she did awesome! Bonk- what a little beauty queen- she is so smart! I'm looking forward to seeing that too- although it will be weird to see her grow up- I still remember when she was just a little baby- it's already weird how big she is- listen to me I sound like a mother:)! haha
