Kirikou and The Sorceress

This is one of our favorite family movies. Eric is always up to date with entertainment news and this movie won an award in a film festival so he bought it. It's really different, it's an african folk tale about a small boy named Kirikou. He is small but very wise, the villagers make up a song with these words in it. He is born walking and talking and saves his village from the evil sorceress. The sorceress has a curse on her that he frees her of. Aside from this he sets off on many adventures that only he can undertake because he is so small. Kirikou is bold, outspoken, but also wise. The music is outstanding. It's very refreshing and entertaining. I had a hard time finding the trailer for it but I did find this on you tube and it happens to be Bianca's favorite part.
