As a friend of mine recently stated, "Oh why Oh are you moving to Ohio?" haha. I thought that was pretty funny. We leave the 14th of May by plane to the Buckeye state. I should be stressing right now but I'm not because of one main reason, I don't have to pack! Eric's company is relocating us so they come and pack everything and truck it out. The only thing I have to plan for is the time in between when they take our personal things and when they arrive at the house. We will be here a few days without beds, furniture a car ect. and then when we get to Ohio we are staying in a hotel for another couple maybe 4 days. I'm trying to look at it like a mini vacation. I'm sure Bianca will be a little confused when we don't fly back though, poor girl. She is going to miss her Grandma and Grandpa and Mandy and Ben's a lot. Anyway that is the update. So if you want to see us out here, call me before the 14th, after then we're outta here. ):
By the way we are going to have a NICE guest room with a big bed if anyone wants to come out to visit!!!!

ReplyDeleteMay 14th?? That's like only two weeks away. We've moved around a lot, but never a move quite so long-distance or permanent as yours, but here's a tip that really helped Ben when we moved from my parents' house to Tacoma when he was two: Before we left, I took pictures of everything and everyone that was familiar to him and made it in to a little album, so we could look at it after we moved and he could see that those people and places still existed. Anyway, just a thought. Hope your "mini vacation" is smooth and fun!

ReplyDeleteI can't believe it's all happening so fast. You will be missed her in Utah. It sounds like your move should be pretty easy...that is as far as packing is concerned. Happy Moving!
