He's Awake!!

Wyatt is finally starting to be awake for a few hours a day. He usually stays awake for only about an hour to two hours but it is nice to see him. We are getting to know his personality and he is a lot like his sister, very stubborn. He wants to eat when he wakes up and then eat again to go to sleep. I am working with him on this as I don't want another baby that relies on eating to fall asleep. It's hard though! And I am surprised how determined he is! I know he isnt hungry because one time I gave in and he ate one sip and was asleep. So I give him his pacifier and let him cry a little, sometimes I hold him and then put him in his bassinet when he is falling asleep. If anyone has any suggestions let me know.
Anyway another thing we learned is that we can't take him out after 5:00 p.m. because he will fall asleep very easily in the car and it sets him into a deep sleep that you can't wake him from until about 9:00. Then he is up all night. So we have to leave him with Grandma and Grandpa if we need to go out so he can stay awake a little in the evening. He is already a little turkey just like our Bonk. But I have learned from her. I don't want Wyatt to take two years to be able to sleep through the night so I will do everything I can to get him sleeping well and soothing himself.
