This is the first outfit that Bianca chose herself, and put on by herself. She was very proud, but she was wondering why mommy changed her when we went out. She doesn't have the matching quite down yet but I let her wear it around the house and the neighborhood. Now when I try to dress her or help her dress she says "No Mama." She wants to do it herself. In the second picture she is singing the popcorn song and doing the sign for surprised.
The other day we went to the store and I asked her to hold Mommy's hand while we crossed the parking lot and when she put her little hand in mine I just felt so much love for her. My little bonk. I feel so blessed to have her in my life.
She si sucj a cutie:) I'm glad she's here too- I love that little Bonk way too much to live without her:)
ReplyDeleteSo adorable. I should scan one of my class pictures from Elem. School. I'm sure the other parents were wishing they put me in the back row. There I am, front row: striped shirt, flower skirt, tights with high-top sneakers. I looked RAD!
ReplyDeleteOh that is the darned cutest thing- that she picked her outfit out, that she's singing the song, that she wants to do it herself... I feel the same way when Isaiah wants to hold my hand (bc it's so rare!). :)
ReplyDeleteOh boy, can't wait till Katy starts doing this... she LOVES clothes so much. When Grandma gives her some new outfit, she just coos over it and carries it around the house with her for awhile. So cute. I love the "popcorn" picture, and thanks for reminding me how wonderful it really is to have a trusting little hand tucked in mine. :)
ReplyDeleteOh, my! how she has grown up! I haven't seen her since November 2006. What a love girl, so cute singing her song. Tell her grandma remembers the popcorn song and will sing it with her someday soon. Let her wear the clothes she picks out when you go out. So it doesn't match, she doesn't know it and she will feel proud of herself and thats got to feel good.! She will catch on quickly by your loving guidance. A hand in a hand, so loving, so adorable. You too are special. I love you both!! Grandma Linette xoxo
ReplyDeleteWow she is growing up so fast - can't wait to see her again soon.
