We took Bianca to her well baby check up this month. She was excited to go, surprisingly until we walked back to the Dr's office. She weighs 23 pounds which is in the 10th percentile and her height is in the 50th percentile. She has a vocabulary of about 100 words and she can count to ten. She also knows all her colors. At two years of age when we put her in her big girl bed she finally started sleeping through the night. The only thing I would like to see her improve on are her eating habits.
She is very picky and wants soda for breakfast and cookies, candy and chips all day. I think her first two word phrase was "chocolate cake". I have started hiding treats we have and give her more options when it's time to eat. So far her diet consists of chicken noodle soup, cucumbers with ranch dressing, chicken fingers, fries, yogurt, spaghettios, cereal, strawberries and milk. She still likes to have about 4 bottles a day. Dr. says nothing is wrong with that as long as she is eating solids three times a day as well. So the next feats will be ridding her of the bottle and the pacifier. Also she is ready to start potty training so we will be getting her her first potty this month. We've been reading a book about it and she is very excited.
What a skinny minnie! I think Carter weighs close to 24/25 pounds, and surprisingly he's like at the 50th percentile given his height and age. He's just solid. I think girls just are much more tiny! It will be interesting to see how Wyatt compares with his sis. ;)
ReplyDeleteyeah, I already feel much heavier in the belly with Wyatt. I can't even lay on my back because I can't breathe! and when I turn on my side at night I can feel him plop over sometimes.
ReplyDeletewhat's the book? i'm interested. Oh my gosh i remember the plopping. ugh. sleeping is tough! :) enjoy all the comfortable moments you have
ReplyDeletelove you-
